I bought Roots Magic 7 and was very pleased with how easy it works and how its operation meshes so well with other genealogical programs. Roots Magic 7 has agreed to take it over and support it in the future. Recently Ancestry chose to stop supporting the program, much to the dismay of many of its users. I have used Family Tree Maker since it's original development.
